OKI KENICHI
アーティスト。
人物を変形させることで思考を表現した抽象画、アルファベットを独自の形に変形させた文字作品、またはその2つを掛け合わせた作品をベースに、立体作品やインスタレーション作品なども発表している。
2014年にはニューヨークへ渡り、Bushwick Open Studiosの参加アーティストに選出され、その後、国内のみならず海外での活動も続けている。また、アパレルブランドやミュージシャンとのコラボレーションアイテムのデザインも多数手掛ける。

OKI KENICHI
Artist.
OKI KENICHI creates abstract paintings that express thoughts through the deformation of human figures, and artworks based on transforming the alphabet into unique shapes. He also produces sculptures and installations combining these two approaches.
In 2014, he moved to New York and was selected as a participating artist in the Bushwick Open Studios. Since then, his activities have continued not only in Japan but also internationally. Additionally, he has designed numerous collaborative items with apparel brands and musicians.
