OKI KENICHI creates abstract paintings that express thoughts through the deformation of human figures, and artworks based on transforming the alphabet into unique shapes. He also produces sculptures and installations combining these two approaches.
In 2014, he moved to New York and was selected as a participating artist in the Bushwick Open Studios. Since then, his activities have continued not only in Japan but also internationally. Additionally, he has designed numerous collaborative items with apparel brands and musicians.

OKI KENICHI creates abstract paintings that express thoughts through the deformation of human figures, and artworks based on transforming the alphabet into unique shapes. He also produces sculptures and installations combining these two approaches.
In 2014, he moved to New York and was selected as a participating artist in the Bushwick Open Studios. Since then, his activities have continued not only in Japan but also internationally. Additionally, he has designed numerous collaborative items with apparel brands and musicians.
