制作の際にぽろぽろと出た木屑をお包みしてお届けいたします。

ここにあるのは、制作のときにぽろぽろとでた木屑たちです。普段は捨てたり燃やしたり庭に撒いたりしているけれど、ふと、作品として形づくられたものと同じように価値があるのではないか、意味があるのではないかと考えました。かつては森にいて、切りとられ散らばった木の断片は、長い時間を経て今ここに辿り着いています。

小さな木屑を大切に包んでみる。尊いもののように、飾ってみる。時々あけて今日のことを思い出してみる。これまでとこれからの遠い時間を想像しながら、そばに置いていただけたらと思います。

髙山瑞 | Midori Takayama
1993年神奈川県生まれ。武蔵野美術大学造形学部彫刻学科を卒業し、東京藝術大学美術研究科彫刻専攻修士課程を修了。線と余白を主題に木彫技法にて作品を発表している。主な個展に、「草々」（HAGISO、東京、2024）、「山の端、切り込み」（銀座蔦屋書店、東京、2023）、「森のスケッチ」（沖縄県立芸術大学、沖縄、2023）。主なグループ展に、「有楽町ウィンドウギャラリー2025」（HIGASHIYA man 丸の内、東京、2025）、 MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2024「NEW ERA」（天王洲運河一帯、東京、2024）、 「ARTIST NEW GATE2024 ファイナリスト展」（あべのハルカス 近鉄本店、大阪、2024）、など。パブリックコレクションとして、2020年株式会社西武ホールディングス新本社ビル ダイヤゲート池袋に作品設置。 2024年、料理宿「撚る屋」客室サインの彫刻（岡山）、北白川糕糰店の表札（京都）などの制作も手掛けている。

大地から切り離された断片が
ぽろぽろとしたたり痕跡をのこす
どのように生まれどのように消えるのか
どこから来てどこへ行くのか
途方もなく長い時間を
あるいは一瞬を
わたしたちは想像できるのだろうか
今はただ淡い光線が
屑たちを照らしている

“ Parapara ”

What you see here are the wood shavings left over from the production process. I usually throw them away, burn them, or scatter them in the garden, but I suddenly thought that they might have the same value and meaning as the pieces that form the work. Once in the forest, the pieces of wood that were cut and scattered have arrived here after a long period of time.

I try to wrap a small piece of wood chip with care. I display it as if it were precious. I open it from time to time to remember today. I hope you will keep it by your side as you imagine the distant time that has passed and will pass.

2018: Completed Master's Program in Sculpture, Tokyo University of the Arts

Fragments cut off from the earth
leave behind a trail
How they are born and how they disappear
Where they come from and where they go
An incredibly long time
Or a moment
Can we imagine
Now only a pale ray of light
shines on the scraps

-When sealed, the wood cannot breathe, which may cause mold. Please store in a well-ventilated place.
