印刷は、東京・Hand Saw Pressが手がける4色刷りのリソグラフ技法によって制作されました。
リソグラフとは、孔版印刷の一種で、シルクスクリーンに近い仕組みを持ちつつ、デジタル製版を用いることでアートと印刷の中間のような独特の表現が可能になる技法です。インクのにじみや版ズレ、色の重なりが意図的に活かされ、手仕事のような温かみと偶然性が一枚一枚の仕上がりに表れます。
オタニさんの線画とリソグラフの風合いが組み合わさることで、画面上には色のレイヤーが繊細に重なり合い、複雑な色調と立体感を生み出しています。A4サイズ（W297×H210mm）という飾りやすいかたちに収められており、ご自宅のリビングや子ども部屋など、日常の中にも心地よく溶け込む存在です。
すべての作品には、作家自身による直筆サインとエディションナンバーが記されており、各作品10部限定となっています。額装付きでの販売となりますので、お手元に届いたそのままの状態で飾っていただけます。

⚪︎作家プロフィール
オタニじゅん
1980年生まれ。鳥取県出身。
デザイン制作会社勤務を経て、フリーランスのアートディレクター / グラフィックデザイナー / イラストレーターとして、広告や書籍、アーティストのビジュアル等を中心に、様々な分野で活動しています。
コミッションワーク以外にも、『Diff ’rent Strokes for Diff ’rent Folks（ 日本語訳：十人十色）』を制作のテーマに、リズミカルなドローイングを活かした作品を制作しています。

⚪︎作家ステイトメント
 
PILE  - OTANIJUN SOLO EXHIBITION -
 
18歳まで過ごした私の部屋は、窓から「水道山」と呼ばれる小さな山が見えます。当時の部屋の記憶には、山のフォルムが共に存在していて、帰省する度、何も知らず輝かしくて苦々しい当時の葛藤やムードを私に呼び戻させます。その山は私にとって、記憶を蓄積した装置のようなものです。
 
PILEと名付けた作品は、山というモチーフを通して人や事象の『生』の蓄積を表現できないかと思い製作しています。人生の時間の中で、一人ひとりに蓄積されたムードのルーツについて、考えるきっかけになるための装置として、思いを巡らせていただけたら嬉しいです。
 
今回はPILE作品以外にも、山をテーマにしたリソグラフの作品や、過去に制作していた作品など、バラエティに富んだ内容となっています。

In “PILE,” OTANIJUN presents nine new risograph prints themed around mountains. Each piece blends humorous, free-flowing linework with layered colors, inviting viewers into quiet yet playful worlds.
Printed in four colors by Tokyo’s Hand Saw Press, these works showcase risograph’s unique textures—ink overlaps, subtle shifts, and an organic feel that makes each print one-of-a-kind.
Each A4-sized piece is part of a limited edition of 10, signed and framed, and available online with international shipping. Thoughtful titles further spark the imagination.

⚪︎Artist Profile
OTANIJUN
Born in 1980, from Tottori Prefecture.
After working at a design production company, OTANIJUN became a freelance art director, graphic designer, and illustrator. His work spans various fields, including advertisements, books, and visual materials for musicians.
In addition to commissioned work, he creates original pieces under the theme “Diff’rent Strokes for Diff’rent Folks”, focusing on artworks that incorporate rhythmic drawing to express individuality and diversity.

⚪︎Artist Statement
PILE – OTANIJUN SOLO EXHIBITION –
Until the age of 18, my bedroom had a window view of a small mountain called “Suidouyama.” The silhouette of that mountain remains vividly tied to my memories of the room. Each time I return home, it recalls for me — almost involuntarily — the radiant yet bitter struggles and moods I experienced at the time. To me, that mountain serves as a kind of device for storing memory.
With the PILE series, I aimed to express the accumulation of “life” — of people and events — through the motif of mountains. I would be happy if these works serve as devices to help viewers reflect on the roots of the emotional layers that accumulate within each of us over time.
In addition to the PILE series, this exhibition includes a variety of works, such as risograph prints centered on the mountain theme, as well as past creations.
